Upcoming Productions

October 22nd-25th, 2026

Step inside Truvy’s beauty salon, where the coffee is hot, the gossip is flowing, and everyone knows everybody’s business.

Set in a small Louisiana town, Steel Magnolias follows a close-knit group of women whose friendships carry them through life’s happiest celebrations and its most difficult moments. At the heart of the story are M’Lynn and her daughter Shelby, whose relationship — along with the love and laughter of the women around them — reminds us just how strong people can be when they have each other.

Funny, heartfelt, and deeply moving, Steel Magnolias is filled with quick Southern wit, unforgettable characters, and the kind of friendships that feel a lot like family.

You’ll laugh, you may cry, and you’ll probably recognize a little bit of someone you know in these women.

Join Good Neighbors Theatre for one of the most beloved Southern stories ever brought to the stage.

Upcoming Auditions

Good Neighbors Theatre is excited to announce that it will be producing a second youth production this year!

Auditions for **Ho Ho Ho! The Santa Claus Chronicles** will be held on **Monday, October 26, at 5:00 PM** at Good Neighbors Theatre.

Performance dates are scheduled for **December 11, 12, and 13**. Because of the short timeline between auditions and performances, the rehearsal schedule will be condensed. Families should be aware that children who are cast will be expected to attend all rehearsals whenever possible.

Auditions are open to children in grades K-12, however, all cast members will have speaking roles. Because every character has lines, children must be able to memorize and deliver dialogue in order to be considered for casting.

The production is also seeking **two adult actors—one male and one female**—to join the cast.

In addition, we are looking for children and adults who would like to participate in musical performances between scenes. If your child isn't interested in acting but enjoys singing, dancing, or playing a musical instrument, they are encouraged to attend auditions as well.

Directed by Megan Mertsock and Assistant Director Deanna Dickerson, *Ho Ho Ho! The Santa Claus Chronicles* promises to be a fun-filled holiday adventure for performers and audiences alike.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, we invite you to come be part of the holiday magic at Good Neighbors Theatre!
